Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital. As a CT Scan Specialist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT Scanners: Safely and efficiently operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare Patients: Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining the procedure, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Conduct Diagnostic Imaging: Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures using CT scanners, including CT scans, X-rays, and other related imaging modalities.
  • Maintain Equipment: Maintain and troubleshoot CT scanners and other related equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including radiologists, nurses, and other technologists, to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Must have an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology and be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Experience: Preferred 2+ years of experience in radiology or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in CT scanner operation and maintenance.
