We are seeking a motivated Radiologic Technologist in Nuclear Medicine to help us achieve our objectives.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

The primary role of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist is to conduct diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures as requested and assist physicians or radiologists in delivering top-notch patient care.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing nuclear medicine imaging and managing computer processing.
  • Ensuring camera quality control and adhering to radiation safety protocols.
  • Administering and documenting radioisotope usage.
  • Processing and labeling images accurately.
  • Scheduling procedures efficiently.
  • Utilizing office technology, including filing systems and communication tools.
  • Assisting in the transportation of patients.

Required qualifications include:

  • Completion of a two-year training program in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent, along with a valid North Carolina state license.
  • Certification through the ARRT.
  • New hires or transfers to a different modality must obtain certification within six months of assignment.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Venipuncture certification.
  • Compliance with continuing education requirements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrating a positive attitude and teamwork.
