Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Supervisor to join our team at Transdev. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our drivers and passengers, as well as maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-the-scene accident investigations and assist drivers in preparing accident reports, OSHA reports, and safety violation documents.
  • Design and deliver driver training and safety courses, and train new drivers and retrain those involved in accidents.
  • Liaise between drivers and clients and the organization in customer service issues, and evaluate and monitor driver safety and performance, as well as compliance in legal, employment, and labor policy matters.
  • Assist the Safety Manager with DOT/FTA compliance regarding drug testing and recordkeeping, and assist in dispatching, driving, interviewing, and miscellaneous clerical tasks as needed.
  • Meet all driver qualifications at the location, obtain a CDL required to operate vehicles at the location, maintain that license, and drive routes periodically.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a safety or transportation-related role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
