About Our Physical Therapy Team

At Washington Health System, we're dedicated to delivering exceptional care and support to our patients. As a Medical Rehabilitation Specialist, you'll play a vital role in helping individuals recover from musculoskeletal, neurological, orthopedic, cardiopulmonary, and functional disorders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed Physical Therapists in providing physical therapy services and procedures under their direct supervision.
  • Implement treatment programs according to patient needs, including modalities, exercise programs, and other therapeutic interventions.
  • Monitor patient response to treatment and report any changes or concerns to the Physical Therapist.
  • Communicate effectively with department team members and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Develop and maintain competency in technical skills and patient care procedures as delegated by the Physical Therapist.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Must meet established medical and testing protocols.
  • Accountable for implementing treatment programs under direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Responsible for meeting and maintaining established medical and testing protocols.
