Job Summary

The Gallagher Search Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Sales Representative to join our team. As an Outside Sales Professional, you will be responsible for generating sales leads and building strong relationships with environmental consulting and engineering firms, governmental agencies, and private industry companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Generation Sales: Develop and execute a daily business development plan to generate sales leads and bid opportunities.
  • Client Engagement: Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and collaboration.
  • Sales Calls: Conduct weekly face-to-face sales calls with existing and potential customers to promote contaminated site remediation services.
  • Lead Follow-up: Promptly respond to customer inquiries and follow up on assigned leads to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with senior management, estimators, and project managers to align sales efforts and achieve targets.
  • Reporting: Provide regular sales activity reports through CRM entries and other required reports.
  • Travel: Periodically travel to client sites, approximately 30-40%, or as needed.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel daily within the local area.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven track record in business development, specifically within the contaminated site remediation sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, business, or a related field.
Skills:
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Superior sales and negotiation abilities.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with CRM programs for tracking sales activities and opportunities.
