Salary

The Device Preparation Specialist shall receive an estimated hourly range of $16.00 - $21.00 and bonuses or commissions varying by department to recognize and reward outstanding performance. The position also offers a competitive benefits package, including two weeks of paid time off, an additional two weeks of unpaid time off annually, a 401k retirement plan with a company match of 4%, comprehensive medical package, and annual raises of 2% every 6 months.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving Devices: Collect and receive devices shipped in batches, secured within cages, coordinating pickups from the client, and managing up to three cages at once.
  • Unboxing and Recycling: Carefully unbox each device and recycle packaging materials with efficiency and attention to detail.
  • Asset Tagging: Enroll each device by scanning its serial number into the client's business management platform, print, and apply asset tags for easy identification by the client.
  • Device Restoration and Provisioning: Restore each device to erase prior user data and update software, provision devices with necessary client-specific apps, ensuring they are ready for immediate use.
  • Settings Configuration and Packaging: Manually configure device settings that cannot be automated, apply a protective case and screen protector before packaging each device securely for shipment.
  • Timely Delivery: Organize and load the prepared devices back into the cage, ensuring all devices are delivered to the client within a 24-hour turnaround window.
