We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Janitor to join our team at Didlake, Inc. Key Responsibilities- Clean and maintain hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevator banks, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
- Operate powered cleaning equipment, including brooms, mops, and scrubbing machines.
- Polish metalwork, including fixtures and fittings.
- Wash windows, door panels, and sills.
- Empties wastebaskets and replenishes bathroom and floor supplies.
- Assign tasks and issue supplies and equipment to employees, inspecting completed work for conformance to standards.
- Requisition supplies and equipment from supervisors or management.
- Train employees on assigned work and equipment usage.
- Address employee and customer complaints, referring to supervisors as necessary.
- May fill in for general cleaning staff as needed.
- Operate power equipment, including two-stage snow blowers, during inclement weather.
- Ability to interact effectively and supportively with people with disabilities.
- Some knowledge of general cleaning products and equipment.
