Job Title: Janitorial Supervisor

CW Resources, a national non-profit organization, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Janitorial Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our janitorial contract. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a small crew of custodial workers, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage the daily operations of the janitorial contract
  • Oversee a small crew of custodial workers, including performance evaluations, leave requests, and disciplinary recommendations
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor the work of the custodial team
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff members to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency
  • Maintain, track, and compute attendance records and payroll
  • Comply with all established company policies and procedures, upholding the security and confidentiality of documents and data
  • Participate in all phases of custodial work, including cleaning of NGA buildings
  • Inspect work in progress and upon completion
  • Inspect buildings and equipment to determine the need for cleaning
  • Report the need for building repairs
  • Order and maintain the appropriate tools, equipment, supplies, and other materials needed for cleaning and maintaining buildings and/or surrounding areas
  • Maintain records, prepare activity reports, and requisition supplies and equipment when necessary
  • May train custodial workers on the proper use of equipment and materials
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Minimum of one year's supervisory experience
  • Minimum of two years' janitorial/custodian experience
  • Experience working with persons with disabilities or disabling conditions
  • Valid driver's license
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of how to operate in a managerial role
  • Knowledge of how to effectively schedule workers
  • Familiarity with Outlook, SharePoint, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to organize and establish work processes
