Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to oversee the productivity and safety operation of assembly lines at MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage short and long-term objectives for the Production department to achieve division goals in productivity improvements, quality improvements, and safety goals.
  • Provide capacity and labor planning for all manufacturing departments to ensure efficient operations.
  • Coordinate continuous improvement teams to implement effective root cause analysis and improvement methods.
  • Teach continuous improvement philosophy through regular training sessions.
  • Provide conflict resolution and coaching to Team Members.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental goals.
  • Oversee and provide counseling on proper progressive discipline per company policies.
  • Initiate reporting systems to monitor department performance.
  • Minimize overtime of all assigned Team Members.
  • Plan and conduct continuous improvement training of supervisory personnel.
  • Maintain personnel headcount according to the business plan.
  • Conduct annual evaluations (MBO) of supervisory personnel.
  • Follow and promote safety in the workplace.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • + 5 years of management experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong Leadership skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to take decisive action in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
