Job Summary

The Production Manager is a critical role within our organization, responsible for overseeing the production operations within a specific portion of our warehouse. This position requires a strong leader who can manage and coordinate production schedules, determine resource requirements, and collaborate with various teams to ensure maximum performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production Planning
    • Develop and implement production schedules to ensure timely and efficient production of products.
    • Plan and prioritize operations to maximize performance and minimize delays.
  • Resource Management
    • Determine manpower, equipment, and raw materials needed to meet production demands.
    • Manage production schedules through our ERP system.
  • Coordination and Communication
    • Assist in expediting and prioritizing production orders.
    • Coordinate and manage weekly production schedule meetings.
    • Communicate with display team members and buyers to ensure job information is up-to-date and meets delivery deadlines.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that products are being processed according to specifications and time requirements.
    • Monitor production rates and raw material prices.
    • Check inventories and maintain accurate records.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Maintain and submit progress reports, schedules, and issue reports.
    • Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.

Requirements

  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • 5+ years of experience in a production management role within a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Skills
    • Proficient in using production software and systems, such as ERP or WMS.
    • Knowledge of inventory management principles.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with various teams.
    • Ability to analyze production data, monitor performance, and make data-driven decisions.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Effective communication and leadership abilities to manage a team.
  • Language
    • Korean language skills are highly preferred.
