About the Role

The Nutrition Assistant is a vital member of our Nutrition Services team, working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional nutrition care to patients, families, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with nursing staff, doctors, clinical dietitians, and other department staff to deliver optimal nutrition care.
  • Process meals, modify menus, and ensure tray accuracy to meet patient needs.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, supporting our organizational values and serving a diverse population.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Two-year degree in Nutrition preferred.
  • Current Washington State Food Handlers Card within seven days of hire.
  • Minimum one year of food service experience.
  • Minimum one year of experience in a direct patient care setting preferred.
  • Minimum six months of experience in a customer service-oriented position preferred.
