Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our team at ManTech. As a key member of our Big Data environment, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and modifying software systems, applications, and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software systems, applications, and tools using Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks such as Angular.
  • Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
  • Conduct testing of program and software applications to ensure they produce the desired results and instructions are correct.
  • Organize and maintain documentation of application development and subsequent revisions, ensuring others can understand the program.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of relevant Information Technology experience.
  • Strong Java programming/development experience.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern front-end framework such as Angular.
  • Experience working and interacting with different types of data stores (e.g. Oracle, Elasticsearch).
  • Experience with Ext JS (v3 and v4), Groovy (v2), Grails (v2), and Bootstrap (v3+).
  • Understanding of SQL and Elasticsearch.
  • Cloud experience, particularly AWS.

Working Conditions:

  • Use hands to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly position self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.
