Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our team at ManTech. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and modifying software systems, applications, and tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software systems, applications, and tools, both existing and new, to meet the needs of our clients.

  • Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine the feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.

  • Correct errors by making the necessary changes and then re-checking the program to ensure the desired result was produced.

  • Conduct testing of programs and software applications to ensure they will produce the desired results and that instructions are correct.

  • Organize and maintain documentation of application development and subsequent revisions, so others can understand the program.

  • Collaborate with teammates, other service providers, vendors, and users to develop new programming methods.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant Information Technology experience.

  • Strong Java programming/development experience.

  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern front-end framework such as Angular.

  • Experience with Spring and ORM libraries such as Hibernate/JPA.

  • Experience working and interacting with different types of data stores (e.g. Oracle, Elasticsearch).

  • Experience with RESTful services.

  • High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Ext JS (v3 and v4), Groovy (v2), Grails (v2), and Bootstrap (v3+).

  • Understanding of SQL and Elasticsearch.

  • Strong ability to manage competing priorities and communication to multiple stakeholders.

  • Cloud experience, particularly AWS.

Clearance Requirements

  • TS/SCI w/ Polygraph.

Physical Requirements

  • Use hands to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.

  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

  • Constantly position themselves to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.
