Job Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Microservices Engineer to join our team at Canonical. As a key member of our microservices team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and reliable software systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement high-quality, well-structured software that meets the needs of our users
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of microservices
  • Develop and maintain robust APIs and software architecture
  • Write comprehensive tests to validate software behavior
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation and knowledge sharing

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Python and/or Go programming languages
  • Experience with relational and non-relational database systems
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery practices
  • Understanding of systems programming and scalable web services
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
