Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Coordinator III to join our team at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for coordinating the approval processes and conduct of research protocols, ensuring the integrity and quality of clinical/translational research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain documents required for regulatory authorities and sponsors, ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate patient recruitment, screening, and scheduling, as well as organize study visits, enrollment, assessments, and laboratory studies.
  • Identify and procure equipment and supplies needed for project requirements.
  • Record data from source documentation and participant interaction onto case report forms, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
  • Track receipt and status of study specimens, perform packaging and shipping, and maintain documentation.
  • Responsible for study completion processes, including data lock, study closeout, reporting, and archiving of study files.
  • Develop and manage study budgets, monitoring efficient invoicing and taking action to maintain clinical trial billing compliance.
  • Serve as an advocate for human subjects, establishing and maintaining communication with Investigators, research staff, Sponsors, participants, and representatives of professional organizations.
