Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Research Scientist / Tech Lead to join our team in Columbia, MD. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will lead the development of a prototype Security Operations Center (SOC) capability for our customer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead development of a prototype Security Operations Center (SOC) capability for the customer.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of a premier SOC prototype solution.
  • Develop and maintain software requirements and architectures.
  • Interface with DoD customers and provide leadership to other developers and team members.

Requirements:
  • Top Secret security clearance required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar field plus 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Two plus years of demonstrated experience leading cybersecurity research and development projects.
  • Experience with data science, machine learning, and/or artificial intelligence.
  • Experience with cybersecurity data from SIEM, Endpoint, Network, Threat Intelligence.
  • Experience with containerized microservices architecture on Kubernetes, Docker.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or similar field.
  • Experience with SOAR, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), or Cyber Threat Intelligence products or concepts.

Pay Range:
$122,200.00 - $220,900.00
