Position Summary

As a vital member of Nathaniels' Helping Hands Home Care, you will provide essential non-medical assistance to clients in the comfort of their own homes. This role encompasses a variety of supportive services aimed at enhancing the quality of life for individuals who require help with daily activities.

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping Services:
Your responsibilities will include maintaining a clean and organized living environment. Tasks may involve:

  • Washing dishes
  • Cleaning the home
  • Doing laundry
  • Making beds

Personal Care:
Assist clients with personal hygiene and grooming needs, including:

  • Bathing and dressing
  • Shaving
  • Toileting assistance
  • Mobility support
  • Cleaning dentures
  • Washing hair
  • Applying nail polish

Note: For clients with diabetes, toenail and fingernail cutting is not permitted due to health considerations.

Companion Care:

Primarily focused on providing emotional support, this role involves:

  • Offering companionship to seniors
  • Encouraging independence at home
  • Facilitating a more manageable daily routine

This position is centered around enhancing the well-being of our clients through compassionate care and support.
