Job Overview:
Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is in search of an Industrial Security Associate to enhance our dedicated team in Kent, Washington.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Internal Security Measures by conducting compliance evaluations and self-assessments to ensure adherence to governmental and corporate standards. Identify gaps and propose corrective measures.
- Assist with Administrative Investigations by gathering and analyzing information, drafting reports, and interviewing personnel to assess the extent of non-compliance with regulatory standards.
- Contribute to Communication Security (COMSEC) tasks, including managing inventory, distribution, and disposal.
- Help safeguard government, proprietary, third-party, and corporate data from unauthorized access.
- Design, implement, and manage an Operational Security program, along with security training and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards for less complex initiatives.
- Facilitate Personnel Security processes to assist in securing individual security clearances/access.
- Participate in the development and delivery of security awareness training programs to educate and motivate personnel in safeguarding assets and information.
- Engage in Physical Security responsibilities within Boeing facilities, including conducting facility inspections and reviewing facility designs for classified areas to ensure compliance.
- Support subcontractor oversight to ensure adherence to governmental regulations.
This position is required to be performed entirely onsite.
Security Clearance Requirements:
This role necessitates an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in industrial security.
- Experience with Special Access Programs is preferred.
Typically, a Bachelor’s degree combined with 3 or more years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
