Job Title: Security Installation Specialist

At Allied Universal Technology Services, we're transforming the security industry by integrating state-of-the-art technology with physical security. As a Security Installation Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in protecting our clients and communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, program, and configure commercial electronic security systems for enterprise clients.
  • Troubleshoot new security installations to ensure systems are functioning properly and meet codes.
  • Supervise Installation Technician I's on a job as assigned by the Installation Manager.
  • Drive to client sites to perform system installation and confirm the system is operating effectively.
  • Run electrical wiring, including drilling, trenching, and aerial runs.
  • Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned, such as job-site clean-up.
Requirements:
  • High School Degree, Vocational School, or equivalent required.
  • 2-3 years of experience in physical security, fire alarm, or low voltage communication industry.
  • Military veterans encouraged to apply, especially those with experience as an electronics technician or aviation technician.
  • Experience with software such as Software House, Lenel, AMAG, S2, Brivo, Milestone, Exacq, Axis, Bosch, Commend, DMP, Open Options, Notifier, Fluidmesh, or ONSSI preferred.
  • Possess or have the ability to obtain proper state licensing once hired.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment with minimum direction.
  • Good communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external customers.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to be on-call on a rotational basis.
  • Must be detail-oriented and organized.
  • Possess a valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle.
  • Ability to complete time entry from home on a daily basis via the Internet.
