Front Desk Agent Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Fairfield by Marriott. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Check-in and Check-out: Process guest check-in and check-out, including assigning rooms and giving out keys.
  • Reservation Management: Take reservations by phone or online, and maintain records of guests.
  • Customer Service: Respond to guest complaints, requests, and emergencies, and provide information about the establishment and answer guest questions.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts, including taking proper payment, and balance the cash drawer.
Requirements:
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a front desk position or customer service role is mandatory.
  • Excellent Math Skills: Excellent math skills are required for handling cash and processing transactions.
  • Attention to Detail: An eye for detail is essential for ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of the job.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary for effective communication with guests and colleagues.
