Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
- Ensure high-quality food products are prepared and presented to our guests.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement effective kitchen systems and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth.
- Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to kitchen staff.
- Manage kitchen budgets and inventory, ensuring cost control and minimizing waste.
- Stay up-to-date with culinary trends and industry developments to ensure our menu offerings remain competitive and appealing to our guests.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant with a proven track record of success.
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to analyze financial reports and make informed decisions to drive business growth.
- High school graduate or equivalent, with any formal culinary training a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, carry up to 120 feet, and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
