Job Title: IT Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to join our team at JDA TSG. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our IT infrastructure, ensuring the availability, security, and functionality of our systems, data, backups, and communications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the IT Operations department to ensure seamless day-to-day operations
  • Own the incident management process and severity ticket management process
  • Provide regular status reports to senior management
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and processes to improve IT operations and increase efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company regulations
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve proprietary tools and systems
  • Build knowledge base articles and standard operating procedures
  • Support the IT Ops team in resolving escalated issues and problems
  • Manage staff schedules, time off requests, and ensure adequate coverage
  • Responsible for meeting minutes and notes
  • Report on SLAs and SLOs
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in IT Operations management in an enterprise infrastructure environment
  • Working knowledge of Data Center facilities equipment
  • Thorough knowledge of networks and cloud computing
  • Advanced understanding of OSI model
  • Technical proficiency in IT infrastructure, networks, and systems
  • Experience with event correlation platforms and ticketing systems
  • Knowledge of product platforms such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Arista, and Open Gear
  • NMS network monitoring solutions such as SolarWinds, Datadog, Cisco DNA Center, Logic Monitor, etc.
  • Remediation of security threats and vulnerabilities
  • Network administration (Cisco certification a plus)
  • Managing on-premises servers, storage area networks (SAN), and network-attached storage (NAS) devices
  • Installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and life cycle management of physical and virtual servers
  • Familiarity with software platforms including Microsoft 365, AWS, and Azure Cloud
  • Enterprise Backup, Replication, and Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery mitigation and response
  • Strong leadership skills to manage a team of IT professionals
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize issues based on criticality
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
