Civil Graduate Engineer - Water Resources

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a talented Civil Graduate Engineer to join our Public Infrastructure team. As a recent graduate, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including water resources, and gain valuable experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist project teams in the design of public infrastructure work, including water resources projects
  • Prepare engineering reports, feasibility studies, and utility evaluations
  • Develop technical specifications, contract documents, and construction drawings using AutoCAD Civil3D and MicroStations
  • Coordinate with agency staff and internal support teams on designs, analysis, and issues
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite to develop calculations in Excel, reports and letters in Word, and presentations in PowerPoint
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or the ability to obtain within 6-12 months
  • Engineer-in-Training Certificate, or the ability to obtain within 6-12 months
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD Civil3D software
  • Strong communication skills with team members and clients, demonstrates active listening techniques
  • Proficient in computer software (Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Civil3D, MicroStations, Outlook, Microsoft Project)
