Position Summary: We are looking for a Field Service Technician who will primarily focus on troubleshooting and repairing Environment ONE grinder pumps and associated pump stations. This role entails both in-shop and field service tasks, catering to residential and municipal clients across New England.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct maintenance and repair services for sewage grinder pumps and pump stations.
- Install new equipment, oversee start-up commissioning, and provide training.
- Prepare accurate documentation for all assigned tasks.
- Ensure standard tools are available and maintained for service work.
- Keep work areas, including the shop and service vehicle, organized and clean.
- Work outdoors in various seasonal conditions and handle lifting requirements.
- Travel frequently throughout New England, with occasional overnight stays.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours service, with additional compensation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma with a mechanical and/or electrical background.
- Experience with residential or municipal clients is advantageous.
- Proficiency with mobile devices and computers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and 100 lbs. assisted.
- Must pass background checks and drug testing.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
