Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team at K1 Speed in Oxford, MI. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining our fleet of state-of-the-art, high-performance electric go-karts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on go-karts to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of go-karts to identify and address any issues or defects.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts inventory, and special projects.
  • Assist the track crew with track operations and ensure the pit, kart shop, and track areas remain clean and safe.
  • Perform closing duties to secure the pit and track and prepare for the following day's operation.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 1-3 months of related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Able to lift and stand for extended periods.
  • Weekends are a must.
