Position Overview:

The Senior Finance Analyst will play a pivotal role in the governance and oversight of the Modernization Program, focusing on financial processes, capital expenditures, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic guidance and support for financial governance within the Modernization Program.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Operations to establish a continuous monitoring system for project budgets and returns.
  • Act as a key member of the Program Team, reporting directly to the Program Finance Manager.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and standardization in budget preparation and value projections.
  • Serve as a finance subject matter expert, offering high-level support and coaching to project teams.
  • Engage with various functions including Operations, Commercial, and Corporate Strategy to gather essential information for project advancement.

Program Overview:

The ADM Modernization Program, also known as Program Aurora, is an initiative aimed at modernizing strategic facilities through automation and optimization. This program is crucial for enhancing operational efficiency, reducing downtime, and supporting safety initiatives across business units.

Job Duties:
  • Establish and monitor financial processes and controls within program boundaries.
  • Assist in tracking regional and overall program budgets.
  • Oversee value creation and ensure accurate recording of financial results.
  • Prepare status reports with contributions from program and regional teams.
  • Support the finance manager in developing and updating business cases for project approvals.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of recorded results to ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Perform regular budget reviews and deep dives into CAPEX spending assumptions.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers to align the Aurora program with overall portfolios.
  • Assist in tracking performance guarantees and sharing program results with partners.
  • Drive improvements in budgeting, result tracking, and reporting processes.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant financial experience.
  • Familiarity with ADM's business unit segments and operations is preferred.
  • Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are advantageous.
  • Strong communication and mentoring skills, with the ability to engage with various organizational levels.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement and driving initiatives.

Work Environment:

This position is based in North America, with opportunities to work from various ADM facilities. Remote work is not available for this role.
