Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Medical Examiner Professional to join our team. As a Medical Examiner, you will be responsible for conducting thorough medical examinations and evaluations of applicants for military service.
Responsibilities- Conduct medical histories and physical examinations of applicants
- Review required medical tests and documents related to consultations and medical histories
- Secure a thorough health history from applicants and record findings
- Arrange medical consultations with specialists as needed
- Abide by applicable instructions, regulations, and policies
- Determine applicant medical qualifications based on accession medical standards
- Graduate of a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from an accredited school
- Master's or Doctoral Degree in Nurse Practitioner from a program accredited by ANPCP or ANCC
- Current unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in one of the 50 states, DC, Puerto Rico, Guam, or US Virgin Islands
- Minimum of 1 year post-graduate experience in direct patient care within the last 3 years
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) Training from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
