Responsibilities and Requirements
The Forensic Nurse Care Coordinator is responsible for coordinating comprehensive medical-forensic examinations and providing individualized care to adult and adolescent patients. This is a full-time night position (36 hours weekly) requiring a skilled nurse with experience in delivering quality care to vulnerable populations. To excel in this role, you should have a strong foundation in nursing, including 1 year of experience, and current certification in BLS. We also recommend certification in SANE and completion of SANE Clinical Skills Lab training. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, adhere to the Alaska Nurse Practice Act, and maintain certification in Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE). We offer an estimated salary of $125,000 - $145,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as up to $15,000 hiring bonus and relocation assistance for eligible candidates.
