Position Overview:
The Family Engagement Coordinator for Early Childhood is chiefly accountable for two primary objectives: 1) Actively engaging and assisting families in nurturing their child's growth from birth to eight years, and 2) Ensuring that all early childhood families experience a welcoming environment in every school within the district. This role also acts as a liaison among early childhood families, educational institutions, and the community through various family engagement initiatives and programs.

Essential Qualifications:

Education:

  • Associate's degree in fields related to education, counseling, community service, or social work, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Experience:

  • A minimum of two years of relevant work experience.

Specialized Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
