Job Description

The Department of Psychology at Penn State University invites applications for Adjunct Lecturers of Psychology for the semester starting Spring 2024. The opening requires teaching undergraduate research methods courses, introductory statistics, or courses in clinical, cognitive, developmental, industrial-organizational, or social psychology.

Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate research methods courses, introductory statistics, or courses in clinical, cognitive, developmental, industrial-organizational, or social psychology.
  • Develop and implement course materials, assessments, and evaluations.
  • Provide academic advising and support to students.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. preferred and at least ABD status required.
  • Previous teaching experience and fit to the department's teaching needs are critical.
  • Ability to teach online and in-classroom settings.
