Nemours Pediatric Critical Care Transport Team

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Critical Care Transport Nurse to join our team. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert, specialty care to critically ill or injured neonates, infants, children, and adolescents during inter-facility pediatric transports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and manage expert, specialty care to critically ill or injured patients during transports
  • Assume responsibility and accountability for the delivery of care
  • Collaborate with board-certified pediatric intensivists to provide direct medical command
  • Perform advanced procedures, including vascular access, endotracheal intubation, chest decompression, and advanced airway management
  • Use specially-designed equipment to maintain or exceed the level of care provided by referring facilities
Requirements:
  • ASN required (must obtain BSN within 3 years)
  • At least two (2) years of recent pediatric critical care nursing experience required
  • Nursing Licenses: DE required to start. MD, PA, NJ to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
  • American Heart Association BLS required for hire.
  • PALS, ACLS certification or obtain within 90 days of hire
  • ENPC, TNCC, Stable, and NRP certification within one (1) year of date of hire
  • PHRN and DE EMT certification within two (2) years of hire
  • National accredited nursing certification preferred
  • Previous Transport experience preferred
  • Bilingual preferred
