About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Life Safety Systems Representative to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling Fire Safety and Alarm Systems to contractor customers and end-users within an assigned territory and accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain relationships with prospects and customers to identify and qualify potential buyers.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to promote company product offerings and maintain accurate territory records.
  • Conduct seminars, demonstrations, and presentations to generate, develop, and qualify leads for prospective customers.
  • Prepare and deliver financial justifications, proposals, and presentations to close sales.
  • Interface with district operations to deliver and improve service delivery.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and maintain established accounts as an Account Representative.
  • Report progress and supply metrics to operation and corporate teams on a regular basis.
Requirements
  • Highly motivated and success-driven individual with a strong work ethic.
  • High degree of self-discipline and self-motivation with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills and sales techniques.
  • Ability to quickly identify and qualify opportunities and persuade and close sales.
  • Ability to acquire appropriate licenses required by national, state, and local codes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience working with electrical contractors and ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
  • Computer experience with Microsoft and Oracle programs.
