Job Title: Production Supervisor - Mixing

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for overseeing the production of mixing operations, ensuring the quality and safety of food products. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a strong understanding of quality management systems, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate production activities to ensure timely completion of tasks and meet departmental and company production goals.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Ensure all required checks and procedures are performed to maintain a safe and quality work environment.
  • Track and record downtime, and support autonomous maintenance through the use of standardized procedures.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis and Investigations to identify and resolve safety incidents, production downtime, and quality issues.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for the creation of work procedures to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Promote a culture of food safety and quality throughout the production area.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent understanding of quality management systems, including FSSC, HACCP, and GMP.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders to achieve common goals.
