Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Radiology Student Intern to join our team at SSM Health. As a Radiology Student Intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced radiology professionals and gain hands-on experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist radiology technologists in preparing patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and selecting exposure factors.
  • Follow radiation protection and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately to ensure high-quality images.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.
  • Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner to ensure patient safety.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervising technologists and physicians.
Requirements
  • Enrolled in an accredited radiology school.
  • No prior experience required, but a strong desire to learn and grow in the field.
