Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team at Radias Health. As a key member of our Residential Support Services program, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with mental illness and substance use disorders in achieving their goals and maintaining optimal mental, physical, and emotional health.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to clients, promoting socialization, rapport-building, and daily living skills.
  • Assist clients in meeting daily needs, ensuring ongoing connections with community supports, and implementing treatment plans.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, families, and community partners to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participate in team meetings, contribute to treatment planning, and provide input on client care.
  • Administer medications, order supplies, and maintain accurate records.
  • Plan and coordinate recreational and social activities, promoting client engagement and well-being.
  • Provide transportation for clients in the community, ensuring safe and timely arrival.
  • Complete incident reports, charting, and other paperwork in a timely and organized manner.
  • Participate in ongoing professional growth and development, maintaining professional behavior and adhering to company policies.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance.
  • 2,000 hours of experience working with individuals with mental illness (preferred).
