Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Services Agent to join our team at The James New York - NoMad. As a key member of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience during their stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide warm and welcoming service to all guests, responding to their inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage the Front Desk operations, including check-in, check-out, and room assignments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Process guest payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain a high level of cash handling and credit policies.
  • Stay up-to-date on hotel services, facilities, and promotions, and communicate this information to guests as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and concierge services.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to hotel standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting, with a focus on customer service and front desk operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
