Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vocational Nursing Instructor to join our team on a per diem basis at Unitek Learning. As a Vocational Nursing Instructor, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of nursing students by providing high-quality instruction and guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching and Instruction: Teach courses at various times and locations in response to program needs, including lecture content and clinical rotations.
- Curriculum Development: Assist with reviewing and revising syllabus for specific courses within the program and instructional guidelines.
- Student Support: Maintain student records of attendance, grades, and skills check-off forms, and assist with program data collection that meet set due dates and deadlines.
- Professional Development: Participate in professional development; maintain CE hours to ensure renewed licensure, and stay current with college updates.
- Committee Participation: Actively participate in committees as assigned, based on availability, taking into consideration teaching responsibilities as priority.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice.
- Experience in teaching and instruction in a vocational nursing program.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to teach at various times and locations.
Pay Range: $47-$51 hourly
