Direct Support Professional

At ResCare Community Living, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a DSP, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to individuals with disabilities, helping them to live fulfilling and independent lives.
Responsibilities
Perform personal care tasks, including feeding, ambulation, and medical monitoring
Assist with fostering positive relationships between individuals served and their housemates
Ensure client safety and maintain a safe environment
Encourage self-help activities
Accompany clients to scheduled appointments
Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must have a valid driver's license
Ability to work in a group home, home-like setting
Ability to communicate (verbally and written) with all levels of personnel, internal and external
