Job SummaryWe are seeking a Seasonal Customer Service Specialist to join our remote team. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers through inbound and outbound telephone calls. You will work closely with internal and external customers to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service through daily interactions with customers.
- Use fact-finding sales methods to customize Ferrellgas programs and services to meet customer needs.
- Ensure accurate account setup, maintenance, and closure of customer account information.
- Handle customer issues by following our customer complaint resolution policy.
- Perform soft collections for customers on credit hold or past due, as well as some cash handling.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of customer service experience.
- Willingness to report to local office if needed, dependent on business need.
- Exceptional customer service and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational skills with typing and data entry experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Access.
- Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.
- Windows 10 computers or higher operating system.
- Computer with 8GB of RAM, preferably 16GB.
- Hard-wired to the modem, preferably.
- Minimum cable or DSL speeds of 100MB with 10MB upload speed.
- Apple computers can be utilized, but nothing lower than 14.0 (High Sierra OS).
- Use of dual monitors is preferred but not required.
