Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at System One. As a key member of our Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our suppliers and their products.
Key Responsibilities- Supplier Quality Management: Participate in bid and tender revisions, support the Procurement team in sourcing processes, and conduct initial risk assessments and supplier selection and approval processes.
- Supplier Development: Prepare suppliers for Gate review processes, track outstanding actions, and assist with inspections before ex-works.
- Audit and Compliance: Develop and track product, process, and system audits, participate in supplier assessment and rating processes, and initiate and manage Supplier Risk Management Processes.
- Supplier Collaboration: Assist and interact with suppliers on APQP processes, track Supplier Corrective Action Reports, and generate statistical situations based on them.
- Reporting and Analysis: Report on periodic supplier KPIs and participate in Kaizen and Six Sigma processes.
- Internal Collaboration: Support internal quality and production in tasks and meetings, and undertake other reasonable duties and responsibilities as required.
- Experience: Extensive experience in a Supplier Quality role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge: Working knowledge of SQA processes, Quality and CI tools such as APQP, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.
- Skills: Ability to work to technical drawings and specifications, travel worldwide, and perform independent activities at suppliers.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
As a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer at System One, you will have the opportunity to work with a global organization, collaborate with a diverse team, and contribute to the success of our Supply Chain operations.
