Job Summary

This role is responsible for ensuring the success of construction projects by managing various tasks, processes, and projects. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask, provide support to project managers and teams, and assist the project throughout every step until completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and ensure blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings are being followed on time and within budget.
  • Assist the Project Manager in managing on-site construction activities and interactions between all parties.
  • Monitor daily work activities for quality, identifying and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide technical guidance to the team, including the utilization of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Project.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop project plans and specifications.
  • Manage all documentation and project controls systems and procedures, ensuring all appropriate documents are distributed, reviewed, and stored to meet all requirements.
  • Develop a working knowledge of the project budget and identify exposures to the project budget throughout the execution of the project.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in construction engineering or equivalent experience required.
  • 1-2 years experience in construction engineering required.
  • Knowledge of construction trade principles, techniques, and procedures.
  • Working experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Project.
