Emergency Department Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Department RN to join our team at LifeBridge Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Job Summary:The RN provides nursing care to patients in compliance with the Maryland Nurse Practice Act, Standards of Practice, and defined by ANA, ENA, BSBHS, and organization protocols, policies, procedures, and guidelines. Develops, implements, evaluates, and revises plan of care based on physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and educational needs of the patient/family.
Responsibilities:- Assesses patient for changes that may hinder recovery.
- Collaborates with staff, physicians, and other disciplines to provide quality care delivery.
- Maintains clinical knowledge and skills competency to facilitate patient care in accordance with current standards of practice.
- Provides for a safe patient care environment.
- Graduate of accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN licensure with Maryland Board of Nursing or Compact State, if resident of that state.
- Minimum 2 years Nursing Experience specific to Emergency Services or 3-5 years of other acute care experience preferred.
- BLS required.
- ACLS within 6 months of hire.
- PALS and Hazmat within one year of hire.
- Certification in Emergency Nursing Preferred.

Grace Medical Center offers emergency care, inpatient and outpatient behavioral health, renal dialysis, and diagnostic services. Offsite locations provide primary care, drug treatment, and outpatient behavioral health services.
