Emergency Department Nurse

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Emergency Department Nurse to join our team at LifeBridge Health. As a critical care professional, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including medication management, wound care, and pain management.
- Monitor and report patient status to physicians and other healthcare professionals, ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN licensure with Maryland Board of Nursing or Compact State.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in emergency services or acute care.
- BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities.
