Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Field Service Specialist.

Compensation: $28.00/hr - $34.00/hr based on experience and skill level.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (hours may vary).

Location: Fort Myers, FL.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Service department and clients with low-voltage system issues.
  • Perform servicing and installation of conduits, wiring, and devices for various low-voltage systems, focusing on fire alarms, access control, and video surveillance.
  • Exhibit motivation and a task-oriented approach to complete assignments.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and demonstrate strong communication skills.
  • Coordinate with customers in the field and provide training on system operations.
  • Work alongside the Service Coordinator and Service Manager to schedule resources and ensure equipment availability.
  • Maintain clear communication with both internal and external stakeholders.

Reporting Structure:

  • The Field Service Specialist reports to the Service Manager and/or Operations Manager, collaborating closely with the Service Coordinator and Sales Department.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience as a service technician with a minimum of five years in the field or relevant certifications.
  • Preferred NICET certification in Fire Alarm Systems.
  • Familiarity with NEC and NFPA regulations is essential.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and program various systems.
  • Commitment to professional development through seminars and training.
