We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our Cardiopulmonary department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Perform accurate and efficient echocardiograms, vascular work, transesophageal echo, pacemaker analysis, and exercise echo procedures.
- Conduct two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings for the diagnosis of cardiac disease.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of stress testing and its application in the Echocardiography department.
- Participate in quality improvement activities to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
- Assist with stress testing and other non-invasive cardio diagnostic testing.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, or Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer, or Registered Vascular Technician (RVT), or Registered Vascular Specialist.
- Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or Ultrasonographer.
