About the Cardiac Sonographer PRN Role
The Cardiac Sonographer PRN is an integral part of the Cardiopulmonary team at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. We pride ourselves in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, and our team is considered a family who works hard to support each other.
Responsibilities:
- Accurate performance and coordination of various procedures in the Echocardiology Department, including Echocardiograms, vascular work, transesophageal echo, pacemaker analysis, and exercise echo.
- Perform two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings for diagnosis of cardiac disease.
- Participate in PI activities.
- Assist with stress testing and other non-invasive cardio diagnostic testing.
Requirements:
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, or Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer, or Registered Vascular Technician (RVT), or Registered Vascular Specialist.
- Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or Ultrasonographer.
