As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for receiving, rotating, and merchandising fresh and processed meats, as well as assisting with seafood, rotisserie chickens, prepared foods, and cheeses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides exceptional customer service by answering questions and making recommendations on food products.
  • Weighs, packages, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood, including grinds.
  • Inspects and stores meat upon delivery to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Maintains a clean and organized meat department, including the meat cooler, freezer, and refrigerated display cases.
  • Assists with receiving and unpacking meat, poultry, seafood, prepared foods, and cheeses in the meat cooler and freezer.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with fresh and processed meats is preferred.
  • Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude.
  • At least 18 years of age.
