Job OverviewWe're seeking an experienced Antenna Engineer to join our team in El Segundo. This role will involve designing and developing antenna systems, from initial analysis to prototype and characterization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in antenna development, collaboration skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities- Define antenna and feed systems for our gateways.
- Drive antenna designs through development, from initial analysis to prototype and characterization.
- Contribute to software development and testing used to demonstrate antenna functionality.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate antenna designs into array systems.
- Analyze real-world performance data of antenna systems, debug issues, and improve performance.
- Experience with RF simulation software (HFSS, COMSOL, or similar).
- Ability to analyze antenna systems in simulation and test.
- Strong foundations in antennas and RF concepts.
- 7+ years of experience in research and/or development in antenna design.
- Experience in phased array antenna development a plus.
- Ability to fabricate and characterize prototypes of antennas, antenna feed systems, and RF front ends.
- Familiar with antenna measurement techniques and tools.
- Programming experience in Python, C++, or MATLAB.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and autonomously driven startup environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
