Physician Assistant I Hematology Oncology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant I to join our Hematology Oncology team at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contribute to the development of treatment plans.
Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough medical histories, perform physical examinations, and initiate lab and radiology tests as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans and provide patient education.
- Perform routine procedures such as injections, immunizations, and wound care.
- Prescribe and monitor medications as allowed by state law and hospital policy.
- Participate in medical team rounds and collaborate with nursing and other healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or higher degree from a recognized program.
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant through the NCCPA or successor organization.
- License to practice and prescribe issued by the state licensing board.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
