Account Executive / Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Executive / Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team at Consultative Search Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional bookkeeping services to our clients, including financial statement preparation, payroll processing, and general ledger maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor junior bookkeeping staff to ensure high-quality work and efficient operations.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Process client payroll and maintain accurate records.
  • Onboard new clients and set up their accounting systems.
  • Record journal entries, reconcile bank statements, and maintain accurate general ledger balances.
  • Provide back-up coverage for other account executives as needed.
  • Process accounts payable and cash receipts.
  • Coordinate client loan applications and collaborate with senior accountants for final review.
  • Ensure accurate asset schedules for insurance purposes.
  • Work closely with the tax department to ensure clean and accurate books.
  • Meet tax deadlines, including 1099s and estimated payments.
  • Create commission reconciliation schedules for non-touring clients.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma required; bachelor's degree from an accredited institution preferred.
  • At least 4 years of experience in accounting, business management, or working with high-net-worth individuals.
  • 1+ years of experience working with AgilLink, Datafaction, or QuickBooks preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
